Tasman District Council is seeking a dedicated professional to lead its telemetered water metering data collection program and support water resource decisions across the Richmond, Tasman region. The role combines field work, data analysis and stakeholder engagement to sustain regional water management.
You will analyse water use trends, maintain quality data systems, and assist with flood warning operations and investigations, communicating complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll combine field work, data analysis, stakeholder engagement and technical expertise to support sustainable water management across the region.
You'll lead Council's telemetered water metering data collection programme, work closely with water users and industry contractors, and provide critical information that supports resource management, drought response, compliance activities and environmental decision-making.
From analysing water use trends and maintaining quality data systems to supporting flood warning operations and contributing to water resource investigations, you'll play an important part in helping Council make informed decisions for the future.
