Job summary

InterGroup in Taupo is seeking an experienced Class 4 Driver/Operator to join our infrastructure team. You will operate vacuum, hydro excavation and catchpit trucks and contribute hands-on to multiple Taupo sites.

The role involves diverse tasks, daily checks, safety, and teamwork with a crew. Training is provided if you’re new to our specialist equipment, and you’ll help deliver high standards across our projects.

Qualifications

• Full Class 4 NZ Driver Licence.
• Experience operating heavy vehicles.
• Willingness to undertake physical work and maintain fitness.
• Commitment to health and safety and teamwork.
• Ability to learn and operate specialist equipment with provided training.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate Class 4 vacuum, hydro excavation and catchpit trucks.
• Operate vacuum, water blasting, suction and associated equipment.
• Catchpit cleaning and drainage maintenance.
• Hydro excavation and vacuum loading.
• Set up and pack down equipment; perform daily vehicle checks.
• Work safely with the crew and complete job records and documentation.
