Job summary
WSP is seeking a Digital Engineering Lead to drive digital delivery across water projects in Aotearoa New Zealand. The role combines hands-on project delivery with national influence on modelling standards, workflows, and quality practices to lift consistency and efficiency.
You will lead adoption of best practice modelling, BIM and digital engineering tools while supporting project teams to deliver high-value outcomes for clients nationwide.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in digital engineering within infrastructure or water.
- Proven ability to lead and embed digital delivery standards across teams.
- Hands-on approach contributing to project delivery while coaching others.
- Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives in engineering environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support digital delivery across water projects, contributing to modelling, design, and technical outputs.
- Establish and embed consistent modelling standards, workflows, and quality frameworks.
- Act as a technical advisor to the Water Leadership Team on digital engineering practices.
- Drive improvements in tools, systems, and processes to enhance efficiency and delivery outcomes.
- Coach and uplift capability within project teams across the country.
- Support the adoption and implementation of ISO 19650-aligned practices.
- Contribute to strategic direction for digital engineering within the water sector.
- Enhance client outcomes through high-quality, reliable digital delivery.
