Job summary

Goodman Fielder Auckland Freight Centre is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to support the Warehouse Manager and drive peak efficiency in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will supervise loading, receiving, picking, inventory control, rostering, and ensure SOPs, HSE, and RMP compliance, while coaching the team to improve performance.

Experience with WMS and SAP, Kronos, and MPI TFO approval is valued; join a collaborative team committed to growth and career development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in leading a pick pack warehouse operation.
• 2+ WMS & SAP knowledge.
• Inventory control.
• RMP & Health & Safety procedures preferred but not essential.
• MPI TFO approved preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer complaints, investigate root cause and drive the alignment of uniformed processes across the team.
• Leading by example to ensure that all procedures and best practices are consistently followed.
• Supervise, train and direct assistance of warehouse operations including loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, put away, picking and inventory control.
• Workforce rostering and approving labour hours, annual leave etc (Kronos, Temp agencies).
• Ensure correct inventory control processes, reconciliation of discrepancies and efficient picking operations.
• Site maintenance and MHE kept to standard, vendor P/O creation and vendor invoice reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate personnel records to ensure no non-conformance e.g. training matrix, licences.
• Management of the CHEP account.
• Train the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and improve performance.
• Drive an efficient and motivated workforce by providing coaching, feedback, and encouragement.
