Job summary

Bidfood Rotorua is seeking a Day Shift Store Person – Inwards Goods & Replenishment to join our Bay of Plenty warehouse. You’ll receive, check, store, and replenish stock, ensuring FIFO and accurate recording to keep picking teams supplied.

We value reliable, detail‑oriented team players who are comfortable with warehouse systems, and who can pass routine checks to work across chillers and freezers. Full training provided.

Qualifications

• Stock inwards received, checked, and recorded accurately.
• FIFO rotation and proper storage crucial.
• Able to work in chiller/freezer zones.
• Accurate and reliable with a structured approach.
• Must be eligible to work in NZ and pass checks.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and record inwards goods accurately.
• Put stock away and maintain locations.
• Follow FIFO and date recording.
• Replenish pick faces and prepare for night shift.
• Support stocktakes and keep workspace tidy and efficient.

Day Shift Store Person – Inwards Goods & Replenishment

9am - 530pm Monday - Friday + rostered Saturday

That’s where you come in.

You’ll be the person ensuring stock is received correctly, put away properly, rotated using FIFO, and replenished so the picking team has exactly what they need when they start.

This role suits someone who likes structure — but also enjoys fine‑tuning and improving how things are done.

What You’ll Do

• Receive, check, and record inwards goods accurately
• Put stock away correctly and maintain stock locations
• Follow FIFO and ensure dates are recorded properly
• Replenish pick faces and prepare the warehouse for the night shift
• Work with supervisors to keep the warehouse tidy, efficient, and organised
• Use our systems and processes to make stock flow smooth and accurate
• Raise improvements or issues when you see them — your voice matters
• Support stocktakes and assist other teams when needed

• Physically fit and able to work in chiller/freezer zones
• Tech‑comfortable (you don’t need to be an expert, just confident using systems)
