Vending Direct Ltd in Auckland is seeking a dedicated picker/packer to join our warehouse team. You will pack vending machine restock orders, pick fresh and frozen products, and support inventory tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

This role requires manual handling, attention to detail, and the ability to use handheld devices for stock management. You will also restock shelves, rotate stock using FIFO, maintain cold chain where required, and work with a positive, safety‑minded team.

Responsabilités

• Packing vending machine restock orders: efficiently pack bins and boxes for refilling machines.
• Pack orders for wholesale pantry customers.
• Pick fresh and frozen products with correct selection and cold chain.
• Highlight out-of-stock items on pack sheets and notify your manager.
• Utilize handheld devices to pick and pack stock accurately and efficiently.
• Restocking and inventory management: regularly restock shelves and bins.
• Rotate stock using FIFO and ensure products are within date.
• Participate in monthly stock takes and other counts as required.
• Warehouse organisation: clean and organise the warehouse to maintain a safe, tidy workspace.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards when handling fresh, chilled, and frozen products.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated picker/packer to join our team. This role involves picking and packing vending machine restock orders, and performing various warehouse tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

Packing Vending Machine Restock Orders

Efficiently pack bins and boxes for refilling vending machines.

Accurately pack orders for our wholesale pantry customers.

Pick fresh and frozen products, ensuring correct product selection and maintaining cold chain requirements.

Highlight out-of-stock items on pack sheets and notify your manager.

Utilize handheld devices to pick and pack stock, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Restocking and Inventory Management

Regularly restock shelves and bins to maintain inventory levels.

Rotate stock using First In, First Out (FIFO) principles and ensure products are within date.

Participate in monthly stock takes and other inventory counts as required.

Warehouse Organisation

Clean and organise the warehouse as directed to maintain a safe, tidy, and efficient workspace.

Maintain food safety and hygiene standards when handling fresh, chilled, and frozen products.

Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.

Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
