Job summary

Logistics & Transport Recruitment – Auckland is seeking a warehouse operator for a client in the freight sector. The role focuses on learning export airfreight procedures and compliance while supporting day-to-day warehousing activities.

You will work Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5pm with some flexibility for late finishes. A current counterbalance forkhoist certificate and practical experience are required; criminal checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Forklift certificate required and previous forkhoist use (ideally 2 years).
• No criminal convictions; verification will occur.
• Reliable with a proven work history; strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Learn export airfreight processes and compliance.
• Support warehousing operations Monday to Friday.
• Be flexible for occasional late finishes.

My client is a market leading freight and logistics provider and they have a requirement (due to promotion) to find a suitable warehouse operator that is wanting to learn about export airfreight and compliance.

To be considered for this role you must have the following -

• Current counterbalance forkhoist certificate
• Previous experience using your forkhoist certificate (ideally 2yrs min)
• No criminal convictions (this will be checked)
• Strong work ethic
• Reliable track record of work

This is a Monday to Friday role, starting at 8.30am and finishing around 5pm, but with some late finishes, so you will need a degree of flexibility some evenings.

Your wages are based on 40hrs per week, so any hours over this are overtime.
