Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a fit, energetic Storeperson/Forklift Operator to join the Ellerslie warehouse team in a full-time role. You’ll be part of a small crew ensuring smooth operations across receiving, picking, packing and dispatching goods.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of warehouse experience, a current NZ Forklift Licence (manual/automatic preferred), and a focus on accuracy, safety and reliability. Applicants must be NZ citizens or residents.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Current NZ Forklift Licence (manual and automatic experience preferred).
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory systems.
• Must be a NZ Citizen or hold a valid NZ Resident Visa.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and dispatch goods.
• Accurately pick, pack, palletise, and load orders.
• Load and unload containers safely.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks (manual & automatic).
• Transfer stock into racking and to various assembly areas.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with stocktakes.
• Ensure general warehouse cleanliness and safety.
