Job summary

Weft Knitting Company in Christchurch is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Assistant to join a small team. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4:00pm, with an immediate start. You will handle picking, packing, stock movement, cycles counts, and order receipts, contributing to smooth daily operations.

Ideal candidates include reliable individuals with strong attention to detail who can work under pressure and are eligible to work in New Zealand. Training will be provided as needed.

Weft Knitting Company Ltd is a privately owned, family-run business based in Christchurch. We are manufacturers of high-quality knitwear and thermalwear for domestic and international markets. With a focus on innovative, sustainable products, we serve the tourist, fashion, outdoor, and rural industries, specialising in Possum Merino, 100% Merino and Thermalwear.

The role is full-time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4:00pm, and we can offer an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking, packing, scanning and dispatching orders

Skills & Experience:

• Ability to work as part of a team and be hands-on.
• Trade experience is preferable but not essential as in-house training will be given
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Great attitude and reliability
• Ability to work under pressure
