Job summary

Bossi Restaurant in Auckland CBD is seeking waitstaff to join a fast-paced venue operated by Stilo Holdings Limited. The role involves running a full section with table service and delivering attentive guest experiences.

You will develop knowledge of food and wine while ensuring compliance with food safety, liquor licensing and health and safety requirements. NZ citizens or residents only; 30 hours per week; wage 26–30 NZD/hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of waitstaff experience in a comparable establishment.
• Experience in Italian cuisine is advantageous.
• Able to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude.
• Capable of working under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Run a full section with table service.
• Have sound knowledge of food and wine.

We are looking for waitstaff for Bossi Restaurant, an Italian style restaurant located in the Auckland CBD at the base of Pacifica, a building that currently has up to 600 residents, whilst also servicing the surrounding public.

This is a fast-paced, exciting role with endless opportunities for training and growth within the hospitality industry. You will be expected to run a full section with table service, have sound knowledge of food and wine and ensure compliance with food safety, liquor licensing and health and safety laws and regulations.

This is a full-time position with at least 30 hours per week offering a wage of between $26 and $30 per hour depending on experience. Hours of work will be varied Monday through Sunday on a rotating roster.

• Have a minimum 1 years experience working as a waiter in a comparable establishment.
• Experience in Italian cuisine would be an advantage
• Be able to follow instructions
• Have a positive attitude
• Be able to work under pressure
