Job summary

Habit Health in Palmerston North is seeking an experienced Vocational Consultant to support ACC clients into employment, delivering personalised rehabilitation solutions. You will work in a multidisciplinary team to assess needs, develop action plans and ensure timely progress in rehabilitation with a focus on return-to-work outcomes.

You must have ACC vocational rehab experience, strong stakeholder engagement, and a tertiary qualification with CDANZ membership eligibility.

Qualifications

• Proven ACC vocational rehabilitation experience.
• Strong understanding of ACC contracts and return-to-work pathways.
• Self-motivated with ability to build relationships and deliver outcomes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and case management skills.
• Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.

Due to an increase in ACC and private work, our clinic in Palmerston North is seeking an experienced Vocational Consultant to deliver personalised solutions for vocational rehabilitation. We will enable you to look after the needs of clients by providing the tools you need to support them the Habit Health way.

This role will work with ACC clients to support them into employment. The role offers the opportunity to work either part-time or full-time, with both options considered for the right candidate.

It is compulsory for applicants to have a CDANZ membership to be able to qualify for this role.

About you:

• Proven experience working within the ACC vocational rehabilitation sector.
• Strong understanding of ACC contracts, processes, and return-to-work pathways.
• A proactive, self-motivated “go-getter” who can build relationships, identify opportunities, and achieve outcomes for clients and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and case management skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
• You will have a Tertiary qualification - Full orProfessional Membership of Career Development Association of New Zealand(or eligibility to gain membership)
• Excellent communication skills – you will be meeting all sorts of great people!
