Job summary

Neudorf vineyard in Upper Moutere is seeking help to work in our organic vineyards. Starting around the 28 October, join a small crew for 3–4 weeks to perform shoot thinning and wire lifting, keeping vines in order.

You’ll need your own accommodation and transport to site. Our two sites are within 2 km of each other; work will alternate between sites. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, and we discourage smoking on site.

Qualifications

• Some experience in similar outdoor work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shoot thinning on vines.
• Wire lifting and trellising tasks.
• Keep vines in order and maintain vineyard appearance.

Job description

We require some help working in our organic vineyards located in Upper Moutere (Tasman). Shoot thinning and wire lifting will be the main tasks. Starting around the 28th October and continuing for 3-4 weeks you will join a small vineyard crew keeping the vines in order. If you are keen to work outdoors and like the idea of an organic vineyard we'd love to hear from you.

You will need your own accommodation and transport to site. Our two sites are within 2km or each other and work will alternate between sites. Some experience in similar outdoor work is preferred. As an organic vineyard we ask people not to smoke / vape on site.

Standard work hours are Monday - Friday 730am - 4pm.
