Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Venue Manager for Halswell, Christchurch, to take full ownership of the venue and lead the local team. You will drive commercial operations, rostering, budgeting and reporting while fostering strong community ties.

You will manage a 7-day roster, including nights and weekends, and support progression across Christchurch venues. A hands-on leader with hospitality passion is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality management experience relevant to the role.
• Venue Manager applicants must have previous venue management experience.
• Duty Manager certificate required for all management roles.
• Strong commercial understanding, including rosters, budgets and reporting.
• Hands-on attitude and genuine passion for hospitality.
