Job summary

TR Group is seeking a Refurbishment Technician to join our Mt Maunganui workshop. You'll perform grooming and cleaning, basic repairs, cosmetic refurbishment, and assist engineers in the workshop, with hours 7am–4pm, Monday to Friday.

This hands-on role suits a team player who enjoys keeping busy, can juggle multiple tasks, and is keen to learn. A Class 2 Licence is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided to develop your career in transport.

Qualifications

• Class 2 Licence is an advantage but not essential.
• Enjoy working outside?
• Positive and highly motivated with loads of energy.
• Self-motivated and results oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Grooming and cleaning vehicles
• Steam cleaning chassis and drivelines
• Polishing wheels and bumpers
• Debranding and buffing cabs
• Replacing damaged or missing cab/body parts
• Light maintenance including - replacing guards, mudflaps, toolboxes, applying registration & RUC labels and general basic maintenance etc
• Maintaining app based time records and job data
• Helping move vehicles around the yard
• Assisting other technicians and engineers in the workshop
• Keeping your work area clean and tidy
