Job summary

Recruit Plus Limited is seeking a Senior Automotive Spray Painter with extensive experience in automotive painting and basic sheet metal repairs in Hamilton, New Zealand. The role involves independent completion of small to medium sheet metal repairs, grinding, masking, priming, topcoats, clear coats, polishing, and basic quality inspection.

Preferred candidates will have color matching experience and familiarity with local repairs, silver powder paint, and pearl paints.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Automotive Spray Painter with years of experience in automotive painting and basic sheet metal repair. The candidate should be able to independently complete small to medium sheet metal repairs, grinding, masking, primer, topcoat, clear coat, polishing, and basic quality inspection; experience in color matching, local repair, silver powder paint, and pearl paint is preferred. The candidate should have a strong sense of responsibility, be able to cooperate with others, and adapt to the operation of a small team. Hourly wage is 32, with room for increase based on experience.
