Job summary

Treescape, New Zealand’s largest Green Asset Management company, invites qualified utility arborists to join our team. Work outdoors among the treetops, contributing to keeping NZ’s power network safe and our environment thriving.

You’ll bring NZQA Utility Arborist Qualification L3+ or equivalent, with at least one year of experience, a full Class 1 licence, and a safety-focused mindset. Chainsaw, pole saw and chipper experience are valued, with Monday–Friday shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

• NZQA Utility Arborist Qualification L3+
• Minimum 1 year experience
• Minimum Full Class 1 licence (Class 2 a bonus)
• Chainsaw, pole saw & chipper experience
• Clear communication + a great safety mindset
• Tree ID knowledge is beneficial
• Able to pass MOJ, medical, drug & alcohol test

This role is essential to keeping NZ’s power infrastructure safe and reliable all while protecting the natural environment. No four walls here just fresh air and heights!
