Oceania Dairy Limited is seeking a proactive Utilities Controller to support safe, efficient operation of our Glenavy site. You will monitor boilers, water treatment, chilled water, compressed air and wastewater, while driving reliability and continuous improvement.

Collaborating with Operations, Engineering and Maintenance teams, you will ensure health and safety compliance, identify efficiency gains, and provide hands-on support to contractors and cross-functional teams.

We are seeking a proactive and technically minded Utilities Controller to play a key role in supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our manufacturing site. In this hands‑on role, you'll be at the forefront of our site's essential services - from boilers to wastewater, chilled water to compressed air - all crucial for maintaining smooth, continuous production.

Working closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance teams, and external contractors, you'll monitor and maintain essential site services, support plant reliability, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with complex systems and equipment, and making a meaningful contribution to site performance.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor site utilities, including boilers, water treatment, chilled water, compressed air, wastewater, packing gases, and fire systems.
• Support plant reliability through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and breakdown assistance.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor utility performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency gains.
• Collaborate with contractors and cross-functional teams to ensure the safe and effective operation of site services.

About you

• Previous experience in a production, engineering, or utilities role.
• Solid time management and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem‑solving.
• Familiarity with Health & Safety, Quality, and Compliance frameworks.
• Strong computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems.
• Previous boiler operation experience (advantageous but not essential).
