Job summary

UPS Power Solutions in Auckland seeks a Registered Electrician progressing into a specialist UPS role. Join the Auckland engineering team for maintenance, fault finding and UPS/battery installations and commissioning.

You’ll be trained in UPS systems, diagnostics, and on-call support across commercial sites, with a clear career path from Engineer to Senior Engineer as you grow technical capability and leadership.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered Electrician with a strong technical mindset.
• Interest in learning a specialist UPS field and fault-finding.
• Commercial/industrial/service experience valued; aptitude matters.

Responsibilities

• Planned maintenance, fault finding and repairs.
• Installation and commissioning of UPS and battery systems.
• Electrical/technical diagnostics and site testing.
• Witness testing and site acceptance, on-call support.
• Laptop/software-based configuration and diagnostics; customer support across sites.
• Mix of service, project and installation work.
