Job summary

Woods is expanding our Underground Infrastructure capability in the South Island and seeks an experienced Underground Service Locator to join our Christchurch team. You will operate across Christchurch and the wider South Island using GPR, electromagnetic locating, 3D GPR (IDS Stream DP), GNSS, and GIS/CAD data.

You will be a practical locator who works well independently and within a team. A full NZ driver’s licence is required, and travel on projects will be necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground utility locating.
• Ability to work across Christchurch and wider South Island.
• Practical and capable locator who can work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Work across Christchurch and the wider South Island using a range of technologies.
• Operate GPR and electromagnetic locating equipment.
• Travel for projects when required.
