Job summary

Endura Mining is seeking a Leading Hand (Mobile Maintenance) to provide frontline leadership and technical support for the maintenance team. You will drive reliability, coordinate resources and mentor staff while ensuring safety and quality compliance across underground equipment and site infrastructure.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor-Mobile Maintenance, you will lead by example, manage pre-start meetings, and coordinate activities to meet operational priorities.

Qualifications

• National Certificate in Automotive Engineering Plant and Equipment Level 4 or equivalent.
• National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering Level 4 or other recognised trade.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, direction and support to maintenance personnel and contractors.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Lead pre-start meetings and ensure daily priorities and safety requirements are understood.
• Mentor apprentices and less experienced trades personnel.
• Perform maintenance, fault finding and repair on underground mobile equipment and fixed plant.
