Job summary

Bridgestone New Zealand Limited in Dunedin is seeking an organised Storeperson to manage stock receipt, storage and dispatch at our Dunedin Commercial store. You will work with the Store Manager to keep stock accurately tracked and in the right place, ensuring timely delivery to customers.

Your day-to-day includes receiving, dispatching, stock takes and using forklifts, vehicles and equipment as required, with a focus on safety and accuracy, in a supportive, safety-first team environment.

Qualifications

• Full, clean New Zealand Driver's Licence.
• Current forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
• Good basic numeracy, literacy and computer skills.
• Methodical, organised approach and an eye for detail.
• Safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and store goods in accordance with quantities, types and locations.
• Dispatch goods correctly and in line with supply schedules.
• Order stock as required and maintain accurate, secure stock records.
• Conduct regular rolling stocktakes and participate in national stocktakes.
• Operate delivery vehicles, forklifts and other lifting equipment as required.
• Alert Store Manager to shortages or stock excesses.
• Maintain a safe, clean and well-organised warehouse environment.
