Job summary

Sime Darby Transport (NZ) Ltd is seeking a Distribution Store Person at our Wiri Distribution Centre to receive, store, and dispatch products with precision. You’ll manage inventory and coordinate timely deliveries to support supply chain efficiency.

Role requires physical fitness, forklift certification, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Monday to Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm; health and safety compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg.
• Hold a current forklift licence.
• Gantry Crane experience is beneficial but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders in a timely manner.
• Handle inbound inventory, including receiving, quality checking, and stock put-away.
• Support inventory management through cycle counts and stock adjustments.
• Complete required documentation and system updates as needed.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Perform general warehouse duties as required.
• Work efficiently to meet or exceed daily output targets.
