Job summary

Truckstops Tauriko is seeking a motivated Parts Apprentice to join our team in Tauranga. Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will assist customers and workshop staff with parts enquiries, process orders, and help customers choosing the right parts for Volvo, Mack, Hino and UD Trucks.

You will complete a MITO Apprenticeship Programme towards a New Zealand Certificate in Automotive Parts and Accessories (Level 3), while developing product knowledge and systems proficiency in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Interest in trucks, heavy vehicles, or automotive industry.
• Strong desire to learn and build a long-term career in parts and service.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide outstanding customer service.
• Willingness to develop technical knowledge through MITO Apprenticeship programme.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and workshop technicians with parts enquiries and orders.
• Provide outstanding customer service over the phone, via email, and at the front counter.
• Develop strong customer relationships and position Truckstops as the supplier of choice for Volvo, Mack, Hino and UD Trucks.
• Identify and supply truck and trailer parts accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a tidy, organised, and professional parts department; support warehouse operations.
