About the Role :

Chardikala is looking for a Class 4 Truck Driver. The applicant for the position needs
to hold NZ class 4 Driver License. The successful applicant will be responsible for the safe and efficient
operation of our Class 4 truck, including transporting and delivering goods to various locations. You
will be expected to carry out daily vehicle checks, ensure loads are secured correctly, follow all road
and workplace safety requirements,

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Plan delivery schedules and routes to ensure goods are transported and delivered on time.
• Drive and manoeuvre trucks safely to designated locations for the loading and unloading of goods.
• Transport goods across different routes while complying with traffic laws and company driving procedures.
• Supervise and assist with the safe loading and unloading of goods from the truck.
• Handle fragile, heavy, and sensitive items carefully to prevent damage during transportation.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to coordinate deliveries and resolve delivery issues.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including goods transported, delivery times, locations, and customer confirmations.
• Obtain and maintain proof of delivery or delivery confirmation from customers.
• Conduct daily inspections of the truck to ensure it is clean, safe, and in good working condition.
• Perform routine vehicle checks, including monitoring oil levels, tyre pressure, fuel levels, and other essential components.
• Report vehicle defects, breakdowns, or maintenance requirements promptly and arrange servicing when necessary.
• Follow all health and safety requirements and maintain safe driving and handling practices at all times.
