Job summary

CGR Services in Auckland is seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to lead the transport team, coordinating dispatch, drivers, fleet servicing and workshop activity. This hands-on role provides frontline leadership, coordination and support to keep operations running safely, efficiently and reliably.

This role requires responding to operational challenges, maintaining accurate records and invoices, and ensuring COF compliance.

Qualifications

• NZ Driver Licence is required.
• Approximately 5 years' experience in transport, logistics, dispatch or operational coordination.
• Previous supervisory or coordinating experience.
• Experience with systems administration, preferably Transport Management Systems, Oracle or similar.
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Solutions-focused approach to operational challenges.
• Resilience under pressure and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities of the Transport team, including dispatchers and drivers.
• Provide frontline support and guidance to the transport team and resolve operational issues.
• Complete transport invoicing and prepare information for approval.
• Coordinate vehicles and units for servicing, repairs and COF requirements.
• Work with the workshop to ensure servicing and operational needs are met.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding parts, pricing, availability and scheduling.
• Support workshop administration and maintain accurate systems and records.
• Cover annual and sick leave across transport as required.
• Support dispatch operations, including occasional Saturday coverage.
• Maintain strong communication across transport, dispatch, drivers, workshop and suppliers.
• Assist with systems administration and keep transport information up to date.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and support continuous improvement.
