Job summary

AsureQuality in Finegand, NZ, is recruiting Trainee Meat Inspectors for the meat industry. You will train to earn a nationally recognized Meat Inspector qualification, with paid training and progression to a skilled role across NZ's red meat sector.

Based on-site at SFF Finegand, you will join a strong team with good working conditions. After qualification, weekend, overtime and shift work may be involved, offering a clear career path in a critical NZ industry.

Qualifications

• NCEA Level 1 or equivalent.
• Willingness to undergo training and earn Meat Inspector qualification.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand and able to meet health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Be based at SFF Finegand and complete Meat Inspector training.
• Earn a nationally recognized Meat Inspector qualification during training.
• Work as part of a team in the meat inspection process with potential weekend, overtime and shift work after qualification.
