In thisrole, you’ll support the team with the construction and maintenance of overheadelectricity lines, learning to operate electrical equipment up to 33kV andassisting with the installation and replacement of pole structures, conductorsand hardware. You’ll complete block courses, gain hands-on experience in thefield, and help ensure all documentation, inspections and reporting arecompleted accurately. Throughout your training, you’ll work safely, communicateeffectively and contribute to a positive, productive team environment.
You’ll havea NZ Driver Licence (with an HT licence being an advantage), strongcommunication skills and a great attitude. You’ll be comfortable working atheights, physically fit and committed to safe work practices. Most importantly,you’ll be motivated to learn, willing to develop new skills and passionateabout building a long-term career in the electricity industry.
