Job summary

Join Our Team is seeking a Dairy Farm Assistant to help with the day-to-day operation of a dairy farm near Te Awamutu. This is an entry-level position. Training and supervision will be provided, with duties ranging from feeding stock to general farm maintenance.

Applicants must be reliable, able to work outdoors, and prepared for early mornings, weekends, and public holidays. A pre-employment drug test and background checks are required, along with providing a current CV.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be reliable and willing to learn.
• Be comfortable working outdoors and around livestock.
• Be able to undertake the physical duties required by the role.
• Be available for early morning, weekend and public holiday work as rostered.
• Follow instructions and work safely.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Consent to a Ministry of Justice criminal record check.
• Consent to employer obtaining ACC claims history for assessment of physical requirements.
• Provide a current CV.
