Job summary

MH2 Recruitment is seeking reliable Traffic Controllers for casual roles across South Auckland, West Auckland, the North Shore and wider Auckland. You’ll perform Stop/Go operations, direct pedestrians and vehicles, and ensure safety at worksites with day shifts available.

Earn $24–$26 per hour with weekly pay. This casual position offers 30+ hours during busy periods and ongoing training and onboarding. Must hold TTM/TMO, have a valid licence, and be willing to travel.

Qualifications

• TTM/TMO certification is required.
• A positive attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg.
• A full driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel to client sites across Auckland.
• Casual, on-call availability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform Stop/Go operations and manage traffic safely at worksites and events.
• Direct pedestrians and vehicles through work zones.
• Set up and pack down traffic management signage and safety equipment.
• Communicate with the team via radio.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks when required.
• Represent MH2 Recruitment and clients professionally while working.

Traffic Controller (Day Shifts)

Your responsibilities:

• Perform Stop/Go operations and manage traffic safely at worksites and events
• Direct pedestrians and vehicles safely through work zones
• Set up and pack down traffic management signage and safety equipment
• Communicate effectively with your team via radio
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks when required
• Work safely while representing MH2 Recruitment and our clients professionally

What you'll need:

• Valid TTM/TMO certification
• A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic
• Physically fit and confident lifting up to 25kg
• A full driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle
• Willingness to travel to various client sites across Auckland and the North Shore
• Flexibility to work on a casual, on-call basis, including accepting work at short notice
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Legal right to work in New Zealand
• A working mobile phone and email address for communication
