Job summary

The Warehouse Group is seeking a Trading Manager for our Takanini store to lead in-store operations and stockroom management, ensuring the trading plan is executed, stock is rotated, and promotions are displayed to maximise value for customers.

You will coach a team, uphold health and safety and audit standards, and partner with the Store Manager to deliver exceptional customer experiences while supporting our local community.

Qualifications

• Proven big-box retail management experience or strong leadership experience in another industry
• Knowledge of promotional execution, planograms, space allocation and visual merchandising standards is advantageous
• An understanding of traffic management plans
• Previous experience adhering to audit standards and health and safety standards
• Strong communication and organisation skills
• The ability to lead through change and deliver results
• A passion for customer service and team development

• Deliver the trading plan, ensuring seasonal stock and key promotions are rotated to the front of store and displayed correctly
• Follow planograms and keep merchandising standards high
• Ensure excellent merchandising, availability and pricing integrity standards
• Recruit, coach and develop your team
• Be the example when it comes to health and safety and audit standards
• Keep the stockroom organized and stock rotated and stored in appropriate locations to setup the night fill team for success

As the Trading Manager, you’ll play a key role in our customers in store experience.

You’ll lead everything shopfloor and stockroom related ensuring our store is well-presented, and ready to serve the needs of our local community.

Working as part of the store leadership team and reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll:

• Deliver the trading plan, ensuring seasonal stock and key promotions are being rotated to the front of store and displayed correctly
