Job summary

Bell Gully in Auckland is seeking an intermediate or senior associate to join the Trade Marks and IP team. You will advise leading New Zealand and international clients on the full lifecycle of trade mark and IP matters, including clearance, registration, portfolio management, revocations and oppositions.

You will work on corporate transactions involving trade marks and may advise on broader IP, advertising, media, privacy and commercial matters.

Qualifications

• Experience advising on trade mark portfolio management and brand protection.
• Experience on broader IP, regulatory and contracting matters, including corporate transactions.
• Genuine interest in trademarks, IP and brand strategy.

Responsibilities

• Advise on full lifecycle of trade marks and brand protection (clearance, registration, portfolio management, oppositions, enforcement).
• Advise on trade mark matters in the context of corporate transactions.
• Broaden advisory scope to include IP, advertising, media, privacy and commercial matters.
