Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA Hornby in Christchurch is seeking a dedicated Trade Support person to join our growing trade department. You will support the trade order process, source products, and prepare accurate documentation for the order pick team, while building product knowledge and maintaining strong client communications.

This Monday to Friday role offers 42.5 hours per week and opportunities to progress within our rapidly developing business.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills.
• Building product knowledge.
• Ability to manage issues with open communication and resolution.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proven organisational skills and strong time management.
• A customer service ethos and reliability.
• Experience reading plans and calculating job quantities is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Supporting our trade order process and Trade Account Managers.
• Sourcing product for our Trade Account Managers.
• Producing accurate documentation for our order pick team for both internal and external customers.
• Producing quotes for, and supporting, our trade and retail customers.
• Ordering special order and stocked products.
