Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA Wanaka is seeking a Trade Operations Supervisor to oversee our Drive-thru and Yard spaces, lead the Trade team and ensure customers can access and purchase materials. The role demands strong leadership, clear communication, and a proactive, service-oriented approach.

The successful candidate will have a NZ driver’s licence, good numeracy, and be able to work Sunday to Thursday 9:00am–6:00pm in the Wanaka/Queenstown region. Forklift endorsement is advantageous but not essential.

Trade Operations Supervisor - Mitre10 Mega Wanaka

TRADE Operations Supervisor - Full-Time

Reporting to our Trade Operations Leader we are looking for a talented allrounder, who can supervise our Trade Drive-thru and Yard spaces, coordinate our Team and ensure our Customers can access and purchase the materials and products they need.

The successful applicant will have;

• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Previous leadership and people management experience
• Good numeracy skills and accuracy
• Be flexible and able to think on your feet
• Be able to meet customer demands with a polite and friendly manner
• Keep a cool head during challenging situations
• Enthusiasm and team spirit
• Familiarity with computers and keyboard skills
• Physically fit and able to undertake heavy lifting
• Some knowledge of building materials would be advantageous, but not necessary
• A current full New Zealand driver’s licence is required

A current forklift licence (F Endorsement) would be highly regarded, although not necessary as training would be given.

We are seeking candidates who can work, Sunday to Thursday 9.00am- 6.00pm

Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or hold a current open work visa for New Zealand (valid until at least mid-2027) and must be resident in New Zealand.
