Job summary

BNT Albany in Auckland is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure timely delivery of automotive parts, while delivering excellent on-site merchandising and customer service.

You will be the friendly face of BNT, building trust with clients and handling stock, credits, and service with professionalism. This role requires a full NZ driver’s licence and the ability to lift items up to 20 kg. Albany branch offers a supportive team and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or exposure to customer facing roles, preferably in a product related sales environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A reasonable typing ability and computer literacy.
• The ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• The ability to work alternate Saturday mornings
• A full New Zealand driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver automotive parts and consumables to customers and branches.
• Load and unload stock, ensuring goods are delivered in good condition and with required documentation.
• Follow scheduled routes and delivery timelines to optimise time efficiency.
• Provide professional, courteous service during deliveries and represent the company positively.
• Record customer credits, returns, and supporting documentation for compliance.
• Build strong relationships with customer contacts during site visits.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through reliable service and helpful attitude.
• Relay market information and feedback to the Branch Manager.

We're looking for a reliable, personable Delivery Driver to ensure timely delivery of automotive parts and effective on-site merchandising.

You’ll be the friendly face of BNT, genuinely personable and equipped with excellent communication skills, allowing you to build trust and nurture long-term relationships with clients—ensuring each delivery reflects reliability, professionalism, and exceptional service.

You’ll manage scheduled deliveries, occasionally lifting items up to 20 kg, and assist in-branch with customer service and inventory tasks such as, handling parts enquiries, restocking, and conducting stock counts.

You’ll need a full, clean Class 1 NZ driver’s licence, a professional attitude, and physical capability for moderate lifting.

Responsibilities include:

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver automotive parts and consumables to customers and branches.
• Load and unload stock, ensuring goods are delivered in good condition and with correct documentation.
• Follow scheduled routes and delivery timelines, optimizing time efficiency.
• Provide professional and courteous service during deliveries and represent the company positively.
• Accurately collect and record all information pertaining to customer credits, including product returns, reasons for return, condition of goods, and any supporting documentation, to ensure compliance with credit processing.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer contacts during site visits and deliveries.
• Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through reliable service and a helpful attitude.
• Proactively relay relevant market information, customer feedback, and competitor activity to the Branch Manager.

You will also have:

• Customer service experience or have had some exposure to customer facing roles, preferably in a product related sales environment
