Southland Girls' High School is seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and student-focused teacher to join our social sciences team as a tourism and transitions teacher, commencing in Term 1, 2027.

We are looking for an educator who is passionate about preparing young people for life beyond school and able to inspire students through meaningful, future-focused learning.

The successful applicant will deliver engaging tourism programmes while supporting students to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence required for successful transitions into further education, training, or employment.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience or a strong interest in Tourism, vocational education, and career pathways.
