Job summary

The University of Auckland is seeking two Timetabling and Enrolment Coordinators to join the Student and Scholarly Services team. You will help deliver a smooth, student-centred enrolment experience, working on timetabling, room allocation and enrolments across the university.

These roles are full-time (37.5 hours/week); one is permanent and the other is a 16-month fixed-term contract. Salary range is $63,600 – $79,300 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

  • Experience in an administrative or coordination role, ideally within a large or complex organisation.
  • Confidence working with databases, systems, or scheduling tools, with strong attention to accuracy.
  • The ability to manage competing deadlines while remaining calm and solutions-focused.
  • Clear and friendly communication skills, and a collaborative approach to working with others.
  • A genuine commitment to providing high-quality service and supporting positive student experiences.

The Timetabling and Enrolment team is part of Student and Scholarly Services and plays a vital role in supporting students at key moments in their academic experience. The team is known for its collaborative, supportive culture and its commitment to delivering accurate, reliable, and student-centred services.

You are organised, detail-focused, and enjoy working behind the scenes to make things run smoothly. You bring experience in administrative coordination and feel comfortable working with systems, data, and multiple priorities.

Experience in a tertiary environment, or with timetabling or enrolment processes, is helpful but not essential - training and support will be provided.
