Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA Porirua is seeking a permanent full-time Drive Thru Team Member to join our busy yard and dispatch areas. You will assist trade and DIY customers, pick orders, manage stock, and prep trucks for deliveries while staying on your feet and lifting materials as needed.

The role requires a full Class 1 Driver's Licence with an F endorsement preferred; forklift training will be provided if needed. We value team players with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles or retail is preferred.
• Excellent communication and a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work physically demanding shifts including lifting.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills for daily tasks.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist trade and DIY customers in the yard and dispatch areas.
• Pick orders and ensure stock is replenished and stored correctly.
• Get delivery trucks ready for departures and timely dispatch.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
