Job summary

Carter Holt Harvey in the Bay of Plenty is seeking a Machinery Operator for our busy horticulture operation. The role is full-time and focuses on operating and maintaining orchard machinery to support productive growth.

You will operate tractors, perform repair tasks, assist in acquiring new equipment, complete required paperwork, and ensure the highest quality of work. Independence, multitasking and meeting deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

Job description

Machinery Operator

We are looking for a Machinery Operators for our busy horticulture business. This is a full-time permanent position and will consist of operating and maintaining orchard machinery.

To be considered for this position you’ll have at least a qualification at Level 4 or above or at least three years of work experience. You should be able to work independently to reach goals. You must be able to multitask and will be able to complete work in set time frames.

You will be also expected to perform tasks such as operating and maintaining our orchard machinery including tractors, completing repair work and assisting in the procurement of new machinery, completing paperwork as required and ensuring the highest quality of work possible. You will be solely responsible for operating and maintaining orchard machinery.
