Job summary

KiwiQuest Ltd. in the Bay of Plenty region is seeking a Machinery Operator to run and maintain orchard machinery, including tractors, in a busy horticulture operation. The role is full-time and permanent, with a minimum of 30 hours per week and a pay rate of NZD 28.00–30.00 per hour.

You will work independently to meet production goals, multitask across tasks, and complete paperwork as required. Basic computer skills (Word/Excel) are beneficial, and a solid eye for detail is essential.

Machinery Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a Machinery Operators for our busy horticulture business. This is a full-time permanent position and will consist of operating and maintaining orchard machinery.

To be considered for this position you'll have at least a qualification at Level 4 or above or at least three years of work experience.You should be able to work independently to reach goals. You must be able to multitask and will be able to complete work in set time frames.

You will also be expected to perform tasks such as operating and maintaining our orchard machinery including tractors, completing repair work and assisting in the procurement of new machinery, completing paperwork as required and ensuring the highest quality of work possible. You will be solely responsible for operating and maintaining orchard machinery.

This is a full time and permanent position offering at least 30 hours per week. We are offering a minimum payrate of $28.00 and a maximum of $30.00 for this position.
