Job summary

Fairview Enterprises Ltd is hiring an Orchard worker for an immediate start on a NZ farm. No experience required; on-the-job training provided. You’ll help thinning and pruning stone fruit and support a small, friendly team in a country setting.

Expect 8-hour days, 6 days a week, with some incentive payments and fully furnished accommodation offered. Enjoy outdoor work and country living with real locals.

Qualifications

• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Must be physically able to perform demanding outdoor work.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Thin and prune peaches, nectarines and plums as part of a small team.
• Carry and climb ladders, use pruning shears, and follow training on ATV.
• Assist with general orchard tasks and routine farm duties.

Are you our next valued Orchard worker? We have a great crop and need more staff! Start immediately.

Come experience NZ country living - fresh mountain air, real people, honest hard work. No experience necessary - on the job training on 4WD ATV, hydraulic ladders and pruning shears. Thinning and pruningpeaches, nectarines and plums in a small friendly family team. Experience a sheep and beef farm too.

Need to be fit and able to work hard: carrying and climbing tall ladders up to 8hour days, 6 days/ week, some incentive payments as well. A great earning opportunity for the physically capable.Work begins immediately.

Bring your sunscreen and a sense of humour - get to meet some real locals. After work, go fishing, river swimming, hiking, eeling. Also close to whitewater rafting.
