To be successful, you should hold NZQA Level 4 Health & Wellbeing and have experience as a Therapy Assistant or Healthcare Assistant, with a demonstrated ability to work with people with disabilities and seniors in a multicultural

Qualifications

• NZQA Level 4 qualification in Health & Wellbeing is required.
• Experience as a Therapy Assistant or Health Care Assistant.
• Experience working with people with disabilities and seniors.
• Understanding of New Zealand healthcare system.
• Experience working in a multicultural work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with daily therapy operations and client preparation.
• Help with treatment room organisation and equipment preparation.
• Support delivery of planned therapy programmes and activities.
• Position and assist clients during therapy sessions.
• Maintain treatment records and report observations to the supervisor.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and treatment areas per infection control.
