Aliaxis is seeking a motivated Territory Manager to join our electrical sales team in Auckland. You will develop and manage customer relationships across Central Auckland, North Auckland, and Northland, engaging wholesalers, contractors and key stakeholders to drive sales growth in a field-based role.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years in territory sales or account management within Electrical/related industries.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with wholesalers, end users, and stakeholders.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in Central Auckland, North Auckland, and Northland.
  • Provide product knowledge, technical advice, and training to customers.
  • Manage territory with regular visits, support existing accounts, and drive projects from start to finish.
  • Plan territory activities aligned with regional sales objectives.
  • Maintain CRM records with opportunities and plans.

About the role We're seeking a motivated Territory Manager to join our high‑performing Electrical sales team. As a Territory Manager you will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships across Central Auckland, North Auckland, and Northland. You will be working closely with electrical wholesalers, contractors, and key industry stakeholders to drive sales growth and expand market presence. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, thrives in a field-based environment, and is passionate about building strong customer relationships. What will you do?
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, end users, and key industry stakeholders by providing responsive, solution-focused support and handling sales enquiries.
  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Provide customers with product knowledge, technical advice, training, and support to ensure they have the best solutions for their needs.
  • Manage relationships across a defined sales territory through regular customer visits, supporting existing accounts, identifying new opportunities, and guiding projects from specification through to completion.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and implement effective territory planning aligned with regional sales objectives.
  • Use sales data, market insights, and customer feedback to refine your sales approach and continuously improve territory performance.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive timely, seamless, and consistent service and support.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to broader business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of customer interactions, opportunities, and territory plans using CRM systems.
  • Comply with health and safety requirements, company policies, and responsibly manage company vehicles, tools, and other assets.
About you
  • 3-5 years proven experience in a territory sales and account management ideally within the Electrical, Manufacturing or related industry.
  • Electrical tradespeople with solid technical understanding with strong communication and client relationship skills looking to transition into a sales career.
  • Demonstrated experience in project sales, with the ability to identify opportunities, influence specification, and convert projects through strong stakeholder engagement
  • Strong communication and negotiation capability, with the ability to effectively hold to the Marley value proposition
  • Proven ability to work autonomously across a regional territory while remaining connected and collaborative within a team environment
  • Sound understanding of account management, balancing new business development with ongoing customer care
  • Highly motivated and persuasive, with a commercially driven and results‑focused approach
  • Strong planning, organisational, and administrative skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Technical aptitude and willingness to learn new products, systems, and processes
  • Hold a valid New Zealand driver's licence and are a NZ Citizen or Permanent resident
