Job summary

AA New Zealand is seeking a Technical Product Owner - Integration Platform to lead the platform that connects AA applications, partners and core systems. You will shape the roadmap, drive integration capabilities, and balance short-term delivery with long-term strategy.

You will work with product, architecture, security and technology leaders to enable scalable, secure integrations and foster faster innovation across the business.

Qualifications

We now have an opportunity for a Technical Product Owner - Integration Platform to join us in a pivotal leadership role where you'll own the platform that connects the AA's applications, partners, and core business systems.

What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga

Leading a team of Integration Engineers, you'll own and shape the platform roadmap and priorities, set technical direction, and drive the delivery of secure, scalable integration capabilities that enable faster innovation across the business. Working closely with product, architecture, security, and technology leaders, you'll balance immediate delivery needs with long‑term platform strategy, helping unlock new digital experiences, partner integrations, and AI‑enabled opportunities

About You | Mōu

You're a technically credible leader with strong experience across integration platforms, APIs, cloud technologies, and modern software delivery practices. You bring a proven ability to lead engineering teams, influence senior stakeholders, make pragmatic prioritisation and trade‑off decisions, and translate complex technical concepts into practical business outcomes. Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels, you'll have a passion for building scalable technology solutions, developing people, and driving continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment. Experience with enterprise integration patterns, platform governance, and cloud‑based integration services will set you up for success in this role.
