Job summary

WSP NZ is seeking a Technical Principal in Water Asset Management to lead the practice across strategy, planning, lifecycle, investment, risk and performance. You will build trusted advisor relationships with water sector clients and regulated suppliers, and contribute to thought leadership.

The role requires a tertiary qualification with registration, and 15+ years in asset management or advisory consulting, with strong ISO 55000 knowledge and NZ sector insight.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years' professional experience in asset management, water services, utilities and/or advisory consulting.
• Demonstrated experience in water supply and/or wastewater asset management.
• Strong understanding of ISO 55000/55001 and asset management system thinking.
• Understanding of New Zealand water sector drivers, reform and information disclosure requirements.
• Proven ability to work with clients, senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
• Current clean driver's licence.
