Biomed Limited is seeking a Technical Manager to join our innovative team in Point Chevalier, Auckland. As a key member of our Management team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the validation requirements of our manufacturing operations, as well as managing our stores team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic organisation.
This role is a full time role but requires some flexibility to support the operations team out of normal working hours.
Ensuring all manufacturing processes, equipment and systems used in production are properly validated and compliant to cGMP.
Leading the validation team to develop, execute and document validation plans, protocols and reports while complying with cGMP and timely project completion.
Coordinating between the validation team and production to ensure execution of validations. And you will work in close coordination with our Quality team for document approval for validations and qualifications of equipment and processes.
Managing all aspect of the store functions on a day to day basis, including stock movements, cost reduction, stock control & stock take, delivery of orders to customers, audits internal and regulatory.
Assisting with Quality investigations and Corrective actions related to validation, comissioning of equipment, processes and product.
Preparing and assisting with the preparation of annual and capital expenditure budgets.
Assisting with any changes to approved procedures.
Ensuring the department is in compliance with regulatory requirements.
A tertiary education in Process Engineering or a related field.
A background in a Quality and/or a cGMP environment would be favorable.
At least 3 years experience in people management - you need to be a hands on Manager.
Excellent technical and problem solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well within a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Experience in process simulations and working with process-related tools and equipment is an advantage.
