Job summary

Fusion5 is seeking a hands-on Technical Consultant to join our Microsoft practice in New Zealand. You will design, build and deploy Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions, and work closely with delivery teams to ensure customer value and high-quality outcomes.

You’ll bring practical experience with Dataverse customisations, plugin assemblies, web resources, and Azure services, and you’ll contribute to testing, deployment, and agile delivery while communicating clearly with customers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement deployments and customisations.
• Practical experience across the Power Platform (Canvas Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate).
• Working knowledge of Azure services (App Service, Logic Apps, Service Bus).
• Understanding of unit testing, solution deployment, and agile delivery practices.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have some of the following:

• Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Dataverse customisations, plugin assemblies and web resources
• Practical experience across the Power Platform, including Canvas Apps, Power Pages and Power Automate
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services such as App Service, Function Apps, Logic Apps and Service Bus
• An understanding of unit testing, solution deployment practices and agile delivery
• Ability to investigate application issues, understand root causes and help put the right fixes in place
• Clear documentation skills, including technical specifications and supporting design notes
• Curiosity about using AI tools responsibly to improve analysis, build quality, testing and delivery efficiency
• A delivery mindset focused on customer value, quality outcomes and continuous improvement
