Job summary

Fusion5 in Dunedin is seeking a hands-on Technical Consultant to join our high-performing Microsoft practice. Based in one of our New Zealand offices, you’ll work on Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Power Platform projects that deliver real customer value.

You’ll collaborate with experienced consultants, contribute to designs, and take ownership from design through delivery while embracing AI-enabled improvements and modern deployment practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Dataverse customisations.
• Experience with Power Platform components such as Canvas Apps, Power Pages and Power Automate.
• Working knowledge of Azure services (App Service, Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus).
• Understanding of unit testing and deployment practices in agile delivery.
• Ability to investigate issues, identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Clear documentation skills including design notes and specifications.
• Curiosity about using AI tools to improve analysis, testing and delivery.
• Delivery mindset focused on customer value and continuous improvement.

We’re looking for a strong player who can:

• Develop and integrate Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions

• Work closely with senior consultants and delivery teams on larger projects
• Communicate confidently with customers and take ownership when challenges arise

The successful candidate will have some of the following:

• Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Dataverse customisations, plugin assemblies and web resources
• Practical experience across the Power Platform, including Canvas Apps, Power Pages and Power Automate
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services such as App Service, Function Apps, Logic Apps and Service Bus
• An understanding of unit testing, solution deployment practices and agile delivery
• Ability to investigate application issues, understand root causes and help put the right fixes in place
• Clear documentation skills, including technical specifications and supporting design notes
• Curiosity about using AI tools responsibly to improve analysis, build quality, testing and delivery efficiency
• A delivery mindset focused on customer value, quality outcomes and continuous improvement
