Job summary

One NZ seeks a Tech Lead for AWS Integration Services to provide technical leadership, architecture guidance and delivery oversight for cloud-native integration solutions built on AWS. You will lead design, development, deployment and support of strategic integration services, APIs, event-driven solutions and orchestration platforms that connect enterprise apps, cloud services and third-party platforms.

• 8+ years in Integration and Enterprise Application Integration.
• Experience designing AI-enabled integration solutions on AWS.
• Proficient in Go and Python with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of AWS-based integration solutions.
• Define integration architectures, patterns, standards, and reusable frameworks.
• Review designs for alignment with enterprise architecture and integration principles.
• Provide technical direction for complex integration initiatives and projects.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, and performant.
• Lead development and support of AWS integration services (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB).
• Drive event-driven architecture and microservices-based patterns.
• Establish API lifecycle, orchestration, and async integration practices.
• Define CI/CD standards, deployment strategies, and operational controls.
• Ensure security, compliance, and audit readiness of services.
• Mentor engineers across AWS technologies and integration best practices.
• Provide coaching across design, development, testing and production support.
• Drive knowledge sharing and engineering excellence across the integration community.
