Qualifications

• Two leaders who build strong, authentic relationships with students, colleagues and whānau.
• Deep understanding of effective teaching pedagogy and leadership of a teaching team.
• Ability to coach and uplift teachers to improve student outcomes in maths and literacy.

Rototuna Primary School is looking for two positive, vibrant team leaders who build strong, authentic relationships with students, colleagues, and whānau. We are seeking relational leaders who deeply understand effective teaching pedagogy and are passionate about guiding and supporting a team of dedicated teachers.

We are looking for leaders who:

• Lead with heart: d emonstrate a 'strong of heart' leadership style rooted in empathy, open communication, integrity, and positive relationship - building across the kura and community.
• Champion pedagogy: hold deep expertise in structured mathematics and structured literacy, with the drive to model best practices, coach team members, and elevate student outcomes.
• Inspire ākonga: thrive in the classroom with respectful, motivated learners while balancing the duties of guiding colleagues.
