Job summary

Cromwell Primary School is seeking a Team Leader to guide the Senior Syndicate (Year 5/6) and balance classroom teaching with leading a collaborative team of educators.

You will drive positive, inclusive culture, coach staff, and elevate instructional practice across the senior school in Central Otago.

About the Role

As Team Leader, you will balance classroom teaching in Year 5/6 with leading a collaborative team of educators. You will play a pivotal role in shaping a positive, inclusive, and high-performing syndicate culture- leading adult learning, coaching staff, and elevating instructional practice across the senior school.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Adult Learning: Mentor, coach, and empower syndicate staff, driving professional growth through highly collaborative practices.
• Lead Student Learning: Design and deliver engaging, high-quality learning programs tailored to the needs of Year 5/6 students.
• Build Positive Culture: Actively cultivate an energizing, safe, and supportive school environment for both staff and students.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with the Senior Leadership Team to support and align with school-wide strategic goals.
